Siri reads your Apple Maps place card, so claim it

Siri and Apple Maps show business details from Apple's own place card, and owners manage it in Apple Business, not Google Business Profile.

When someone asks Siri on an iPhone who to call, the details it reads come from somewhere. Apple's own place card is one of those places. You manage it in Apple Business, a separate place from your Google Business Profile.

What Apple says

Apple Business replaced Apple Business Connect in 2026. Apple says claimed locations and place card details moved over automatically. It says the place card appears in Maps, Siri, Calendar, Messages and more. Apple's announcement also names Safari, Spotlight and Wallet.

An owner can set the display name, primary category, phone, website and hours, including holiday hours. Showcases and custom actions add offers and buttons like order or reserve.

What I would check

  1. Search your business in Apple Maps. Make sure the place card exists and is yours.
  2. Claim it in Apple Business.
  3. Match the name, phone, hours, website and category to your Google Business Profile and website, word for word.
  4. Add holiday hours there too, not only on Google.

Nobody can promise what an assistant will say. A correct place card gives it the right details to read.
