Claim and check your Bing Places listing
Bing Places is your business listing on Bing and Microsoft maps, and a few minutes of checking keeps its details from drifting.
Published · Updated
Bing Places is your business listing on Bing and Microsoft maps.
It matters for AI too. Microsoft says its Copilot Chat is grounded in public web data from the Bing search service. Other AI assistants and search tools can also pull business details from listings like this one. Nobody can promise what an AI answer will show. What you can do is keep the details accurate.
Check yours this week
- Search your business name on Bing Maps. Write down what Bing already shows.
- Sign in to Bing Places for Business. If your listing is already there, claim it. If it is not, create it. Do not make a second listing next to an old one.
- Check your name, phone, hours, service area, website, and categories.
- Make sure each one matches your website and your Google Business Profile. Same name, same address, same phone, every time.
