Fill in your Google Business Profile attributes

The Yes or No details on your Google listing, like Wi-Fi or payment types, show on Search and Maps, and filling them in is quick.

Your Google Business Profile has Yes or No details called attributes. Google says they let customers know details about your business, like Wi-Fi or cash-only. They show on your profile on Search, Maps and other Google platforms. Google also says that if you add certain attributes, your business might show up in searches for places with those attributes.

How to fill them in

  1. Go to your Business Profile.
  2. Select Edit profile, then More.
  3. Select Edit next to a category like Amenities or Payments.
  4. Choose Yes or No, then Save.

Google says review usually takes about 10 minutes, but it can take up to 30 days. Some attributes only exist for certain locations, countries or business categories. Names may change over time.

What I would do

  • Open your profile and see which categories show up for you.
  • Answer only what is true today. Google's example: a wheelchair-accessible entrance is three feet or one meter wide with no steps. If there are steps, there should be a ramp.
  • Check again after you add a payment type or change your entrance.
  • Look at the live listing later. Some attributes can come from customers who visit.

AI answers and map listings can draw on public facts about a business. A true Yes or No is one more clear fact. It does not promise any placement or any mention in an AI answer.
